Felipe Marthan

Creative Director

Graphic designer from the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED), Madrid, with a Master’s Degree in Design Methods from the IIT Institute of Design, Chicago.  

Marthan, began his career winning the Microsoft e-ambassador scholarship program and working in the Oscar Mariné studio.

He played the role of the graphics design tutor in the European Design Labs Master Led by Gala Fernández and Raquel Pelta, in which students evaluated design panoramas throughout Europe during one-week trips to European capitals.

Commissioned by IED Madrid director Riccardo Marzullo, He developed the IED Toolkit in collaboration with Jose Corrujeira. The IED Toolkit facilitated creativity and innovation in the MadridDesignNet event and during the World Expo Shanghai. In particular, at the Madrid Pavilion, where he gave workshops for Donghua University students.

Marthan has written, in collaboration with Lina Duarte Tovar, three research papers aiming to shed light on different initiatives that are part of the panorama of future trends.

In 2020, he moved to Panama City and founded AlbusStudio, where he has mainly worked in branding and digital design for private banking firms and private investment foundations. David is also part of the Abundance 360 community, led by Peter Diamandis.

David was recently certified by the course Art and Technology: From AI to NFTs given by the Sotheby's Institute of Art by Professor Gareth Fletcher and with the participation of Alex Estorick, Editor-in-Chief at Right Click Save, and Victoria Valenzuela, Managing Editor at SuperRare.
